I’m Kim, the designer and maker behind Kimberly Jayne Cake Design.

 

My journey into cake artistry began in my Nan’s kitchen, where time was taken, details mattered, and everything was made with care. That early love for baking slowly grew into a lifelong craft and, over the past 20 years, has evolved into a business dedicated entirely to creating beautiful, considered wedding cakes.

 

Today, I work from my private studio in Swindon, designing and creating bespoke wedding cakes for couples who value thoughtful design, refined detail, and exceptional flavour. Having created cakes for hundreds of weddings, I understand that a wedding cake is far more than a final course. It’s a centrepiece. A moment. Something that should feel as intentional as every other part of your day.

 

My approach is calm, collaborative, and highly personalised. I take time to understand not just how you want your cake to look, but how you want it to feel within your celebration. The result is a design that sits naturally within your venue and styling, while still making a quiet statement of its own.

 

At Kimberly Jayne Cake Design, every cake is designed from scratch and made by hand using carefully chosen ingredients and a meticulous attention to detail. I don’t work from templates or offer off-the-shelf designs. Each cake is created specifically for you, shaped by your story, your setting, and your vision.

 

My style blends modern elegance with timeless detail. Clean lines, soft textures, natural movement, and balanced colour palettes are at the heart of my work, whether that’s through delicate florals, subtle structural elements, or bespoke hand-crafted features.

 

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me outdoors, walking in the countryside with a coffee in hand. That connection to nature often influences my designs, inspiring organic forms, gentle tones, and a sense of effortless beauty.
